INSTALLATION METHODS

On Roof Installation

When on the roof, the tiles are pushed up and the brackets are secured to the frame beneath. The tile is then moved back into its original position. Rails are attached to the brackets then the panels are attached to the rails. For slate roofs an additional specialist cover is fitted to each bracket to ensure the fixing is watertight.

Flush with Roof Installation

When flush with the roof, the same proccess occurs, but the panels are laid so they are at the same height as the tiles. This is more pleasing but is a more expensive option.

Tub Mounted Installation

When tub mounted, the tub is filled with ballast and the panel is mounted. The tub also helps to hide the ballast from view.

Frame Mounted Installation

When the weight of a tub mounted system is an issue, we can use a framework to mount the panels. A frame mounted panel installation requires less ballast and is therefore lighter overall.
